On January 11th thru February 15th
“Come and See! An Invitation to Study the Gospel of John” with Dr. Joe Walser
A six-week series delving into the “other” gospel—the gospel being explored by so many seeking minds today for the exceptional perspective it provides on Jesus’ life and ministry and upon discipleship. The opening session on the 11th will provide an “introduction” to John’s gospel. On the following five Wednesdays, Dr. Walser will be leading us on a progression through the gospel, covering four chapters each evening, exploring “The Book of the Signs” “the farewell discourses of Jesus” and the peculiar sense of time and timing within this gospel that has such meaning and significance for disciples even as they move forward into this 21st Century.
“The Patriarchs: Part I,” a Beth Moore Study of the Bible with Barbara Barbee and Lisa Murray
A study for women of those faith-shaping biblical stories from the Book of Genesis, featuring Abraham, Sarah and Hagar; Isaac and Rebekah; and Jacob, Rachel and Leah. The study of these stories that have informed and fortified the faith of believers for almost four millenniums will be offered in two parts, with Part II being provided during the five Wednesday’s between February 29th and March 28th, during the season of Lent.
Each WNL experience offers the services of a nursery as well as and educational programs for children, preschool thru 5th grade. Dinner is served between 5:30 – 6:15 ; programs are offered between 6:15 – 7:15.
