Guided and inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Global Missions and Community Service ministries of First Presbyterian Church seek opportunities to serve and nurture the lives of God's people locally and throughout the world by joyfully giving of our time, talents, and resources; thus sharing Christ's love, hope, and grace for all.

Individual Ministries
Good Shepherd Ministry-- food collection, meal service & homeless shelter assistance More Information
Interfaith Hospitality Network –hosting and serving meals to homeless families at First Presbyterian Church. More Information
Curbside Café – provides evening meal to residents of Mercy House overnight shelter. More Information
St. Mary’s Medical Clinic– a primary care medical service, focused on providing medical care to the poor and offers direct volunteer or donation opportunities. More Information
Tileston Heath Clinic – provides health care to those who cannot afford it. More Information
KAIROS Ministry - an ecumenical and international ministry that seeks to show love and compassion to prisoners. More Information
Grandparent Program/At Risk Kids – supporting grandparents raising grandchildren through weekly meals, activities, and counseling. More Information
Angel Tree – provides gifts for under-privileged children at Christmas. More Information
Habitat for Humanity– building housing in our community to provide home ownership to low income families. More Information
Ocean House - rehabilitation program for adults with severe or persistent mental illness. More Information
Food Bank of C/E NC - provides food for those in need. More Information

Presbyterian Counseling Center– provides faith-centered counseling services
United Christian Campus Ministry (UCCM) – an outreach of the United Methodist, Disciples of Christ, and Presbyterian(USA) Churches to provide for spiritual growth in the personal and community life of UNC-W and CFCC. More Information
Covenant with NC's Children – a statewide child and family advocacy initiative that interacts with governmental and other social services agencies on behalf of children. More Information
