GOAL: To support the mission of the church that calls us to be "a caring congregation" by guiding the membership to extend Christian care and support to one another.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Bereavement Ministry

     Skills/Interests- Desire to help, cooking or reception setup

     Time Commitment- Varies

Cancer Support Ministry

     Skills/Interests- Caring

     Time Commitment- Varies

Casserole Ministry

     Skills/Interests- Caring, sharing, cooking

     Time Commitment- Monthly baking, or Sunday distribution after services

Emergency Care

     Skills/Interests- Helping others prepare for weather emergencies

     Time Commitment- As needed

Knitting Ministry

     Skills/Interests- Enjoys needlework, willingness to learn

     Time Commitment- 1-2 hours on Wednesday evenings

Prime Timers

     Skills/Interests- Fellowship and planning gatherings for people 60ish and older

     Time Commitment- 5 times per year

Stephen Ministry

     Skills/Interests- Helping people, confidentiality, listening

     Time Commitment- 50 hours of training and weekly visits to care receiver

Transportation

     Skills/Interests- Offering transportation assistance to members to church services or events       

     and possibly doctor's appointments

     Time Commitment- Varies; drivers will be matched with members in their geographic areas

Visitation

     Skills/Interests- Caring, desire to minister to others

     Time Commitment- Varies; monthly visits
