Ski Trip Info
Our ski trip is coming up fast! Some time next week all those who are signed up for this trip should expect to receive a letter with some final details concerning the trip. One of the things is will talk about is making sure everyone is up-to-date on all their forms and expected payments.
To make things easier, we have set up a chart on our website that lists everything we have so far. Find your studnets name and you can see what they have paid, if they have turned in their church medical form, what their expected balance is, if they have signed up for a lesson, and if they have reserved a snowboard. Please take a moment to check this list by clicking this link. You can also get to it by going to our church website: www.firstonthird.org and under the "Youth" tab clicking Sign-up's & Forms. If you have any questions after looking at this list, please contact Charlie in the church office.

Youth Chili Fundraiser-This Sunday, Feb. 5th!!!
Our Chili Lunch Fundraiser is on Super Bowl Sunday, February 5, in Gilmour Hall. We are having our wonderful chefs serving up chili and vegetable soup along with cornbread and coleslaw after the 11:00 service. The cost will be $6 for adults and $4 for children. Grilled cheese sandwiches will be available for the kids meal. You may also purchase a quart of chili or vegetable soup "to-go" for $8. "To-go" quarts may be picked up after the 8:30 & 11:00 services. All proceeds will benefit the middle and high school mission trips in 2012 to West Virginia. We are taking sign-up's for lunch reservations and to-go quarts on the Youth Bulletin Board outside the sanctuary, by calling 762-6688, or e-mailing charlie@firstonthird.org.
We will need lots of youth and adults helping to cook, set-up, and clean-up after this fundraiser. All youth who wish to help should arrive at 10:00am in Gilmour Hall. (except for the few who signed up for earlier jobs) Remember that everyone who attends a summer mission trip must work 15 hours at fundraisers like this one. This is a great chance to get several hours knocked out at one time.

Confirmation Class
All 8th grade students and above are invited to join this year's Confirmation Class. We will begin the class on Sunday, February 5th, and students will join the church on the first Sunday in May. We will no longer be gathering for breakfast, but instead will gather for lunch after church and enjoy some of the fine chili and soup from the youth fundraiser. After church, all confirmands and their families should go to Gilmour Hall to get their lunch. Due to the large size of our class, the only room that will hold us for our orientation is Boney Hall in the Cameron Center, so please make your way across the street with your lunch and join us there.

If you would like to hear more about the middle & high school trips this summer, please download the information & sign-up packets on the front page of www.firstonthird.org . If you have further questions, please contact Charlie in the church office. The sign up deadline for both trips will be Feb. 15th. Cost per youth is $300 for either trip, and the sign-up deposit is $150.

Super Bowl Party
The Giants and Patriots are ready for the big game and so are we! The MS will meet at the Hobart home (2805 Oleander Dr.). The HS will meet at the home of Brannon & Stephanie Walters (113 Blackbrook Lane.) Be sure to dress warm as we may be outside some of the evening. We will meet from 6:00-halftime for the Super Bowl party. (usually around 8:30) Both parties will be potluck, so bring your favorite game time food to share for dinner. We will provide the drinks. Don't miss it!
