Join us for our 200th Anniversary Celebrations!

Sunday, October 22, 10:00am
Dr. Walter Conser, Professor of Religion and History at UNCW, will present a lecture on the early history of First Presbyterian Church in Gilmour Hall.

Wednesday, October 25, 6:30pm
A procession from the corner of Church Alley and Front Street, the former location of First Presbyterian Church, to our inspirational sanctuary on the corner of Third and Orange.

The procession will include representatives of:
-Our daughter churches
-Other Presbyterian Churches
-Other downtown churches
-Wilmington City Council
-New Hanover County Commissioners

The procession ends at the sanctuary with a multi media program at 7:00 P.M. telling the story of First Presbyterian.

Sunday, October 29, 11:00am
Worship service begins with the Kirkin of the Tartans procession.

Following Sunday Worship service the Stewardship Committee will host a lunch to look forward to the next chapter of the Church’s life in the Church building. Finally, a memorial marker will be dedicated in the Orange Street courtyard to commemorate the bicentennial of the Church.
