Within the Church

One of the best ways to get involved is to find a place to serve, within the congregation or in the community or in the world. You don’t even have to join the church first to get involved, all are welcome to participate. Here are some ways to participate and serve:

Ushers – join a team and serve once a month
Choir – Chancel choir practices on Thursday nights, and before services in the summer
Flower Committee – help to decorate the church on special occasions

Sunday School Teachers – for adults, youth, or children
Youth Advisor
Children’s Worship Leader
Members interested in signing up to lead Sunday School or Worship and Wonder can visit the member section of the website to sign up and learn more. There may be a short handout on training to review and/or volunteer information to complete.

Open Arms– an active ministry devoted to wrapping our LGBT+ brothers and sisters and their loved ones in the warm embrace of God’s grace and love
Stephen Ministry – one to one caregiving with training and supervision
Scouting or Basketball – as leader or children’s coach
Visitation Team or Flower Ministry – visit or deliver flowers to sick or shut-ins
Visitor Contact – call visitors to the church to thank for attending
