Lent:
We are excited to be partnering with Sanctified Art to share their Lent series, “Tell Me Something Good” with you. This earthly world has the ability to be weary, angry, hurtful, and full of bad news. And sometimes the negative messaging is magnified to our full saturation point where we can no longer hear one more depressing tidbit, so our walls go up, not out of defiance, but sometimes out of necessity.
But then God sent us Jesus – good news to be shared fervently, globally, lovingly, and unapologetically. The truth of how to live is rooted in the gospel. With love. With forgiveness. With empathy. With helping the indigent and the lost. With our eyes focused on the Lord, with our hearts beating with Jesus, and with our breath full of the Holy Spirit. When we are rooted in scripture, we can share the good news.
Enter our Lenten Series this year, “Tell Me Something Good: Grounding Ourselves in the Good News this Lent” which will begin Ash Wednesday (Feb. 18th) and run through Easter (April 5th). We will be using a multitude of platforms to engage you and challenge you to focus on the good news in our everyday life, to find the wonder of the good news in daily interactions, and to share the good news with abandon. Are you up for it? Are you ready to find your Jesus joy? Are you ready for some good news?
