Presbyterian Women
Involving almost 300 women, five specific groups meet monthly and conduct Bible studies, book studies, service, and fellowship at church or in private homes. Additionally, special events such as Ladies of the Church Oyster Roast, Ladies’ Luncheon, and an annual conference to Montreat are peppered throughout the year. Whether you are looking to grow spiritually, make stronger connections within our congregation, or perhaps both, Presbyterian Women is a wonderful place to start. Please contact Laura Tingelstad for more information about the various circles and how to become involved.

Men of the Church
This is a small group for men who want to grow in friendship and faith. The group will meet each Thursday morning from 7:45am to 8:45am at the Cape Fear Club, located at 206 Chestnut Street in downtown Wilmington. Gentlemen gather for breakfast, fellowship, and a weekly scripture reading. For more information please contact Hank Miller. All are welcomed and encouraged to join us for delicious food and thoughtful discussion.
Knitting Ministry
Did you know that FPC has a Knitting Ministry? Well, we do! Our mission is to knit/crochet baby blankets, Pocket Prayer Shawls, and prayer shawls for the congregation. We also knit/crochet face cloths, hats, and scarves for the Good Shepherd Shelter.
We are a small but growing group who encourage all levels to join us – even those who never picked up knitting needles – we will teach you and encourage you each click of the way! Our group meets the second Wednesday of each month in the church parlor at 1:30pm. Please consider adding your talents to our mission. For more information, please contact Nancy Carnegie.
