Diane and her husband Rich relocated from Charlotte, NC to Ocean Isle Beach, NC in 2021. Diane has an extensive background in nursing. Her call to ministry resulted from serving as the Parish Nurse at First Presbyterian Church, Charlotte. She graduated from Union Presbyterian Seminary Charlotte in 2017 and was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in 2018 answering the call to serve as the first Chaplain for the seminary’s Charlotte campus. Most recently she served as the Parish Associate for Pastoral Care at First Presbyterian Church, Wilmington, NC from March 2022 to August 6, 2023. Upon retirement from her position at the church Diane has been serving as a volunteer Chaplain for the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. Diane and Rich are the proud parents of two wonderful children and three beloved granddaughters.
